The district superintendents and county superintendent participate on the Council of Superintendents and assist in the development and approval of policies for the operation of the Special Education Local Plan Area.

The Council of Superintendents meet monthly in the Board Room at the Solano County Office of Education (5100 Business Center Dr., Fairfield, CA).
