Information and Technology Services

The Solano County Office of Education's Information Services and Technology department provides a broad range of technical and support services to its own staff and students, as well as the school districts in our region. Some of those services include:

 

  • High-speed Internet access to school districts and charter schools
  • Review and approval of school district technology plans for E-Rate
  • Node-site for the K-12 High Speed Network
  • Consultation and facilitation with school district technology staff to identify and reinforce technology best practices that support and enhance student learning
  • SCOE provides the technical and fiscal leadership in the region's move toward operating a robust, consolidated information system for school business, personnel and financial information systems
  • Hosting and management of SCOE's Aeries Student Information system
  • Hosting and management of SCOE's ASAP 2000 Student Information system
  • Hosting and management of SCOE's Renaissance Place system
  • Purchasing, installation, configuration and management of SCOE's many computer-based education labs operating throughout Solano County
  • Management of SCOE's electronic mail and messaging system
  • Data Processing services for Benicia, Dixon, Travis, Vacaville and Vallejo City unified school districts, as well as the Solano County Office of Education.
