About SCOE
  • We offer direct services to more than 3,553 children and adults.
  • We provide instruction for 520 special education students, infant through age 22.
  • We teach 2,768 high school students in our Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Workforce Development classes.
  • We deliver instructional support to 75 students in district schools who are deaf/hard of hearing.
  • We operate a community school for 90 at-risk youth.
  • We teach 100+ students in the Solano County Juvenile Detention Facility
  • We provide educational leadership for the county’s school districts in core academic areas, safe schools, professional development and new teacher support.
  • We delivered professional development to more than 400 local educators in 2008-2009.
  • We provide leadership in organizing regional approaches for the delivery of educational programs and support services, eliminating duplication of effort and saving school district resources.
  • We have fiscal oversight of the county’s six school district budgets representing over $474.2 million (figure represents general fund dollars).
