Adult Career Technical Education Programs

The following career technical education (CTE) program is available for adults:

Paraeducator/Instructional Assistant Class

What is a Paraeducator?

Paraeducators are an integral part of today's classroom. They are a key member of the special education team as well as the Juvenile Court and Community School Program. Paraeducators are found in pre-kindergarten classes for children with special needs, out in the community serving as  job coaches for students with developmental disabilities, in resource rooms for adolescents with learning disabilities, or in a community/court school classroom. Paraeducators are present in most educational settings under the supervision of a teacher. Their skills and contributions make them highly valued and sought after in education. In short, paraeducators have an enormous impact on the students they work with.
