Foster Youth Educational Planning Team
The Foster Youth Educational Planning Team (FYEPT) stakeholder and post-secondary meeting serves as the Executive Advisory Council (EAC) to the Solano County Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program. FYEPT was established on May 31, 2007 and convenes bi-monthly to identify and meet the educational needs of Solano County's foster youth.
EAC membership includes various organizations representing education, government agencies, non-profits, foster parents, group homes, and youth. Members include Juvenile Courts; Solano County Child Welfare Services, Juvenile Probation, Group Homes Administration, Solano County Foster Parents Association, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), ILSP Provider - First Place for Youth, Family Resource Center, Solano Community College, Solano County Behavioral Health Services, and Solano District Educational Liaisons.
