Quality Counts Solano is the early care and education quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) in Solano County. SCOE, along with numerous valued community partners, collaborates with early learning and care professionals to offer high-quality training, coaching/technical assistance, instructional/environmental materials, and connections to support young children and their families. Preschool and childcare programs, including in-home family childcare programs, enrolled in Quality Counts Solano participate in individualized, on-site coaching and technical assistance. The Solano Quality Early Learning Consortium is made up of early learning stakeholders, including parents, providers, educators, childcare professionals, community agencies, and institutions of higher learning, who meet regularly to collaborate and make decisions related to the Solano Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS).
