Elementary School Spelling Bee

The 46th Annual Solano County Elementary School Spelling Bee is open to all fourth through sixth-grade students enrolled in public or private schools within Solano County.

Schools must register here to participate by Friday, January 21, 2022.

The Spelling Bee will consist of two rounds:

  • Round 1 will be a preliminary round held virtually on Saturday, March 26, 2022 (time TBD). The top 2 spellers from each school will be eligible to participate in Round 1. Each student will be given a list of words to spell with point values based upon the level of difficulty. Spellers will need to have both video and audio capabilities for Round 1.
  • Round 2 will be the championship round held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 (location and time TBD). We are working on an in-person competition with limited attendance and live streaming capabilities for additional guests.

Updated Rules and Regulations coming soon!
