Art is Power: Static Art


The goal of the Showcase is to support youth artists from all genres of the arts to encourage the use of art as a healthy outlet for mental wellness and alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) use prevention, as well as celebrate youth resiliency during COVID.

Students of all ages are eligible to submit up to two pieces of static art to be displayed on stage and via live stream throughout the Student Art Showcase. Students who want to submit static art please use the Static Art Submission Form to upload a photo of your piece, provide your contact, and artwork information (button on left). For files over 100MB please email Johanna Nowak-Palmer at to arrange for alternative submission upload.

Static Art Genres:

  • Photography
  • Painting
  • Sculpture
  • Multimedia (multiple mediums)
  • Drawing (pencil, colored pencil, crayon, charcoal, etc.)
  • Video/PSA (must be 90 seconds or less)
  • And more!
