Vacaville Unified School District and Ron DuPratt Ford have partnered on an automotive pre-apprenticeship program for Will C. Wood High School students enrolled in Automotive I and II courses. The program includes opportunities for students to job shadow and apply for a pre-apprenticeship in a variety of departments at Ron DuPratt.

Students who wish to participate in the program must complete a series of Ford training modules, a job shadow experience, and an application process. If accepted, students can apprentice with a member of the Ron DuPratt team in one of several departments including: quick lane, parts, sales and service. Solano County Office of Education’s College and Career Readiness Department is supporting students with applications, resume writing, and interviewing skills.
