Stuff the Bus

The Solano County Office of Education Stuff the Bus event is an annual countywide school supply drive and fundraiser supporting students in foster care and those experiencing homelessness. Donations of new backpacks (no red or blue), school supplies, gift cards, and monetary contributions are accepted.
Each year, SCOE’s Foster and Homeless Youth Services program partners with local organizations including the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Solano County, Sutter Medical Foundation, North Bay Schools Insurance Authority, and Valero Refinery, which serve as collection sites and support the effort.
With this support, SCOE distributes backpacks and school supplies to all Solano County school districts, helping ensure students have what they need to start the school year ready to learn.

Winter Warmth & Wellness Drive

Solano County Office of Education and the Faith and Education Collaborative invite the community to support the Winter Warmth and Wellness Drive, providing essential winter items for students and families across Solano County experiencing hardship or unstable housing.
This effort brings together individuals, schools, businesses, and community organizations to help ensure every child and family has access to warm clothing and basic necessities during colder months.

Requested donations (new items only): coats, blankets, hats, gloves, socks, pajamas, umbrellas, and personal hygiene kits. Monetary contributions are also accepted.
SCOE would like to thank the numerous organizations partnering together to make the Winter Warm and Wellness Drive possible.
